Website analytics and advertising tracking
We use website measurement tools to understand how the site performs. If you choose to allow advertising tracking, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel may receive technical and activity information such as pages viewed, page URLs, browser or device information, IP address, advertising cookie identifiers and selected non-sensitive website events. We configure our own analytics events not to send names, email addresses, phone numbers or form-message contents to Meta or Google.
How we use information
We use enquiry and booking information to respond to you, arrange meet and greets, send booking confirmations and follow up about chair rental or membership. Website measurement helps us understand which pages and campaigns are useful, improve the website, measure advertising and, where advertising tracking is allowed, build audiences for relevant advertising on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Google.
ChairOS Google API Limited Use
ChairOS, operated by The Beauty Basement Pty Ltd, offers members an optional Google Calendar connection. The use and transfer of information received from Google Workspace APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Workspace and Google Calendar API user data is used only for user-facing calendar connection, availability, appointment synchronisation and related security and support functions. We do not use, sell or transfer Google Workspace API user data to create, train, retrain, fine-tune or improve foundational or generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
AI processing and Google data isolation
ChairOS uses Anthropic, PBC through the commercial Anthropic API for separate optional drafting and business-insight features. ChairOS does not transfer Google Workspace or Google Calendar API user data to Anthropic or any other third-party AI/ML provider. The Google Calendar integration and ChairOS AI features are kept separate for this purpose.
Service providers and overseas processing
We use service providers for website hosting, analytics, communications and advertising, including providers such as Google, Meta and Plausible. ChairOS also uses hosting, database, payment, email and AI processing providers, including Anthropic for optional AI features. These providers may process information on infrastructure outside Australia under their own privacy and data-processing terms. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or other third parties.
Access, correction and privacy concerns
You may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing thebeautybasementperth@gmail.com. You can also contact us there with a privacy concern or complaint. We will review the request or concern and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Advertising tracking choices
Meta and Google advertising tracking stays off unless you allow it. You can change your choice at any time below. Turning it off stops new Meta and Google advertising events from this browser and removes the common first-party advertising/analytics cookies that this site can clear.
